Polymer clay can be gently cleaned with soap and water or with rubbing alcohol on a q tip.  Very difficult stains or scratches can be removed with acetone but must be used with extreme caution so the piece isn't damaged. 

 

Natural metals will oxidize over time.  With copper this is usually a desired effect but with brass, silver and bronze it may not be.  Here are some tips on keeping your pieces looking new...

 

+  A polishing cloth is a simple way to clean pieces a needed.

+  Wear your silver often.  The skins natural oils help protect the metal.

+  Remove your jewelry when cleaning or in chlorinated water.

+  Store your pieces in a cool dry place away from moisture.
 

Some of my work is intentionally oxidized.  Using a jewelry cloth on these pieces will remove the patina.

 

It is best to put jewelry on AFTER make up, hair spray, perfume, creams etc. to avoid staining a.d store in a clean dry place.
